RE: Mike Roark (aka H2Odog), I don't have anything against him personally. His belief is that pain killers are the answer to clusterheadaches. I don't think he has clusterheadaches and therefore doesn't understand that pain killers shouldn't be the front line defense for this condition. I've tried them a number of times for my CH and have paid the price. I find that they hide the beginnings of a headache pretty well but the HA eventually breaks through and then it's too late for the proven abortives to be effective. I then have to suffer through a high level HA. They may be more useful in treating shadows, etc. but I personally don't find them of any help with full blown CH.
