Chronics are heroic.
You can deal with most anything if you know it will go away in a few weeks and not return for months or years.
I would respectfully disagree about the relative impact on this site. Episodic clustering gets the most attention because there are so many of us.
I also believe that chronics seem a little reluctant to tell us they are chronic.
