Hello everyone - I really like this site.... I really need someone who KNOWS what I'm going through.
I was diagnosed with migraine headaches with some cluster tendencies in '93. They never had any kind of time clock to them - just sporatic, day after day for a week or so... till Sunday, December 11th, 1999... I can't believe the unbearable pain I'm in. The right side of my head feels like something should be exploding from my eye any minute... everyone says "sorry you have a headache" give me a break!! Headache?? Oh, no.... that's not what I'd call it. I'm heading into 2 1/2 weeks without much sleep... I'm frustrated, tired, cranky, scared, and in a LOT of pain. My Dr. gave me the nasal Imitrex (GROSS, and didn't do much - I don't think they should waste our time with 20 mg!), then they gave me the pill form - 9 of them. Have any of you experienced having 9 little pills, 1-3 ha/day and not being able to get a refill for 30 days????? STRESS!!! (which makes the ha's worse!). I offered to pay out of pocket until they told me a 9 pill blister pack was $165.00 - ok, someone's gettin' rich!!!
Sorry this is going on, and on, and on.... I just don't know what to do - I can't live like this.... how do you all do it??
