Your letter is EXACTLY the reason my Mike has given up on our local docs. Classic runaround, don't know their a** from.....never mind. I won't go there. Apologies to our Doc Greg and to the educated docs out there.
ANYWAYS, have you thought about trying med free relief? Dramamine, water, oxygen, ice? It has sure helped us and Mike is going through probably the mildest cycle I have ever seen because of it. Please feel free to email me directly anytime for a fellow supporter's shoulder if you need one.
Good for you for going with him to that doc's appt. I've done that kind of stuff too and I will never forget the stunned look on our doc's face when we asked why Mike's eyelid droops sometimes and the pupils are different sizes. It was like she was looking at an alien or something. She quickly tried to cover her ignorance by launching into a long drawn out neurological explanation that I'm sure even SHE didn't understand. Needless to say, that was the last visit to that doctor.
Hang in there, Dorothy and thanks for letting us know how it went at the neuro. YOU are your husband's best defense right now. Keep on diggin, you'll find some relief soon.
