I have had C/H for 37 yrs. now and just winding up a cycle that began in August. A peculiar thing has been happening for the past 15 years or so which I would like to share with you. About a month into a cycle I start getting sensative areas in my back from the shoulder blade down to my waist. It is a slight pain with more of a burning and itching. Pressure against this side will IMMEDIATLY set off a headache. This is particularly bothersome while driving or trying to relax in a chair. I live 10 minutes from work but have to lay my seat back in order to get there without a headache.(bummer) My headaches switch sides with every other cycle and so does the back pain. I have not had a C/H for about 4 weeks now , but still get a dull headache if i lean back. Cafergot will prevent this just as it does a cluster h.a. My neurologist seems fascinated with this problem but his only conclusion is that I also have "vascular events" down there also, besides having them in my head! Has anyone ever experienced anything like this? Maybe it could be a piece to the BIG PUZZLE. Thanks for reading this long winded entry. Good luck to all,Ron
