My headaches go from 0 to 10 in 5 or 10 minutes. With me it's all or none. If the abortives kick in in 15 minutes and kill the headache, I call it a 6 or 7. If they don't work and it lasts 2 hours, it's a 10. If I didn't use abortives I'm sure every headache would be a 2 hour 10.
