I just excepted evolution when I was taught it in high school twenty-some years ago. It just doesn't make the least bit of sense any more. The explanations for how life first arose are far-fetched, to say the least. And since various theories of gradual evolution no longer make sense in light of current science, now some "scientists" are proposing "punctuated equilibrium" which makes even less.
