Yes, Depakote does suck! Lithium works well for me in stabilizing my mood. However, neither of the two drugs has been of any help at relieving my headaches. My Neurologist put my on 2000mg Neurontin about a year ago, this is supposed to help with headaches, it doesn't. But, you might want to give it a shot.
