Cluster Headaches and Bipolar Disorder

I have been diagnosed with both Cluster Headaches and Bipolar Disorder (at different points over the last two years).

The CH attacks just started up again last week, so I've been looking for information on the web to see if there's an effective treatment yet. It looks like some advancements have been made, but no one agrees on any one drug yet.

However, I could not help but notice that two drugs which are (apparently) commonly used to treat cluster headaches, are also two of the most common drugs used to treat bipolar disorder:
Lithium (most sites include this), and
Depakote (found this at www.headachedrugs.com)

Does anyone know of a link between the two conditions?
