I have also had severe migraines for almost two years now and went to Diamond about 5 months ago. I too have usually two visits a month to the er and have been hospitalized more times than I can count with dehydration and exhaustion. I spent 5 days in their inpatient unit and didn't get the relief I hoped for, but don't let that discourage you. They use DHE and I can't take it because of the nausuea that goes along with it. But the meds they have available to prescribe are much better than any neurologist I have in my town. I went home with injections of toredol and visteral and occasionally nubaine and phenergan which help to keep me out of the er quite as much. I wish I could tell you it was a cure-all, but nothing ever is. Good luck. Email me if you would like more info.
