What do the rest of you do when the regular abortives have no effect? Oxygen doesn't do a damn bit of good, Imitrex injection hasn't done anything after twenty minutes. The neuro has given me prescriptions for pain meds is about the best thing--if the pain is at about a 6 or above, I start in on them when the other stuff doesn't work. I've had people tell me that I am doing the wrong thing, taking pain meds, that I will get addicted or get rebounds. Funny, but the neuro doesn't seem to feel that way with the amount of pain meds I take.
