I personally think it is a false signal that a certain part of the head is suffering oxygen deprivation. Perhaps CH sufferers' hypothalamuses are abnormal in size AND behavior. But since I get CH, perhaps my freaking (no pun intended, Carl) hypothalamus is also responsible for my often faulty reasoning.
