Hi Stephen,
I must have hit the x without posting but I wanted to let you know what I found out about welders' o2. I called the poison control centre and they told me the only real risk is the inability to regulate the flow and the user can tear lung tissue if they inhale too deeply/quickly.
My husband has used welder's O2 for the last two CH cycles and I would say it aborts his attacks about 80% of the time. Definitely worth a shot and MUCH cheaper than medicinal O2. We have yet to find a doc who will prescribe it unless there is a respiratory illness. But then again, we have kind of sworn off doctors out of total frustration. He is completely med free and battles his CH with the water treatment, dramamine/gravol, O2 and ice.
Hope you find some relief soon.
