My Neuro in USA prescribes Hydrocodone (ES 7.5) for me but here I am in Vietnam and my last prescription is outdated (11/99). Hydrocodone is not available here so a doc gave me Morphine hcl.
What does the hcl mean? Is it morphine like the real stuff. I was under the impression that hydrocodone is a synthetic morphine....correct? If so should this morphine hcl work well?
And can I add Tylenol to the morphine without any adverse effect?
Thanks very much for any advice. I hate messing around with drugs. I was comfortable with the hydrocodone and got to the point where I trusted it. Now starting over with a new gig makes me nervous.
