"hcl" stands for "hydrochloride," that is, hydrochloric acid is somehow involved the production of the drug. And morphine hcl isn't *like* the real stuff, it *is* the real stuff. Hydrocodone is a morphine derivative.
I'm with hub in wondering whether cluster headache is what you have. My experience is the same as his. Opiates help with other kinds of pain, but they don't do anything against cluster pain except to stone you. If you can take Tylenol with hydrocodone, it's probably also okay for you to take it with morphine.
