I really don't think having a supporter affects the length of a cluster for me and I definitely want everyone to leave me the f*** alone during an attack. It is nice to have the hugs and shoulder to cry on afterwards and waiting for the next one. Another thing that is nice about having a supporter is there is someone to run interference for you,a buffer to keep the world at bay when you are having an attack.
