I am new with this internet stuff. I found this web site(or whatever is called)(I'm copmputer illiterate)by accident, and this is a "MIRACLE". I hope to make friends that are going thru what I've been thru for the past 15 or more years.
Does anyone know about a surgical treatment being performed in Boston or some other Northern University Hospital which eliminates this curse forever with some not so pleaseant side effects? (I don't really care about the side effects as long as the headaches are gone!) or know someone that has gone under the knife?
I have tried every kind of doctor, drug and therapy there is, with no or little positive effect. Imitrex has been a miracle drug, but by body is growing immune to it. Verapamil seems to be helping (SR 240 mg 2x per day). In the past, cortizone has been the only drug that has taken the headaches away, but then I have had to deal with the extra 30-40 Lbs. I gained.
I hope to hear from anyone.
