Welcome to the site, Carlos. I have had CH's for 20 years, and
was always on some form of ergotamine. My last series started about
2 months ago, and the ergot didn't seem to work. My primary care
doctor FINALLY let me see a headache specialist who put me on a
prednisone taper and them verapamil - i haven't had one since the third
day of the prednisone! He also gave me imatex nasal spray and pills.
I had to use on spray and my CH was gone in 5 minutes (the ergot
could take up to 2 hours).
