It happens to me too, and about snoring.....sometimes my wife go to sleep with my daughter.....
The only suggestion I can give you is to sleep ALWAYS with a window open (hope you don't live in New York....
Yes, I noticed that if I sleep and work with a continuous change of the air, I avoid the 30% of attacks and I (doing so) am CH free from 23 months
... don't know if I'm only lucky but...worth a try.
