I agree about the brain not feeling pain. But, as you said, it thinks there is. Must be some kinda warning sign to tell us somethings wrong.
But, it just feels inside. When mine start, after a very sore neck, it feels like there is a nerve deep inside my brain. It stretches and stretches until it snaps..then bang! Full blown CH.
The neurologist said the pain I felt wasn't actually really even in my neck, but in a "cranial nerve # something" Going to a specialist next week, a neurologist who supposedly is well versed with clusters. We'll see.
