Tami, 4 months is a long time! Sorry to hear your episodes are that long.

Yes, this last episode I lost some weight too. I think it was largely because of the stress of CH and Imitrex side effects. I can't afford to lose much either, and I was down to 2 digits in weight. I normally eat like a horse, but nothing but Pepsi (I don't even like soda pops) sounded good. Naturally we lose appetite during high stress and time of depression (some go the opposite direction), and we lose sleep during episodes too. CH just is so hard on body and mind! I tried to eat as much as I could...whatever my body accepted, mainly liquidy stuff.

I really feel for you for having to go through tests. I never had to have any testing done concerning CH. Before Imitrex came out, I was put on many narcotics, and they upset my stomach quite a bit. You know they just don't even scratch the CH pain....I've even tried narcotics in a liquid form for quick absorption.

Sorry I don't have a great suggestion.....just hope your doctors does something about it SOON. Venting here is sometimes the best medicine. Keep us informed!
