I have had a lot of relief from when I stayed ALONE during the attacks. The loneliness seems me that help the duration (sorry not the level) of pain. Sure my wife heard all, she didn't sleep, but in this way you can rest a bit more, and your hubby (I repeat, if like me!) can shorten the pain period.
Try this, may sound a little uncaring, but it functioned with me.
A kiss to your children, a hug to you, and a PFNAD to your hubby .....Love Riccardo
