I had those nights in Greenwood, WI when they first started using liquid manure aroun my home, I had six kids, would quietly go outside as not to wake them and scream my head off, had one headache that lasted a week, has exhausted and dead tired, had no idea it was the manure that was causing it, was also on the wrong medication for me, I did have a motor home, and took the family up to Duluth for a week, the cold air of Lake Superior finally broke my spell, not saying this is for you, but something is triggering his headaches, I woke up at 3:00 am nose all stuffed up and that dreaded headache coming, the amitriptylene works for me, I coated the inside of my nose with Oragel and it is clearing now, I have the oxygen concentrator that I will use and hopefully get 3 more hours of sleep before I have to go to work, I can only say what works for me, but those hours and hours of suffering don't do anyone any good, something is triggering that headache and you have to find out what it is, could be sewer gas or something, if you have a car, take him for a ride, I don't know, you just have to try and find something, doesn't do any good to suffer night after night, sometimes a 24 hour demeral vistoral (not sure on spelling) shot works to break the cycle, I assume he is under doctors care, you have my prayers.
