Although you had to go through that hell, your posting it here will probably be a blessing to us.
I've often wondered what would happen if I were to hit a 10 while on the road or somewhere where no one new me. I've feared I get the same reaction you did.
The idea about the Medic-Alert card is fantastic!
I think maybe I'd like to have them put on mine:
"I'm not crazy...it's all in my head!" ; )
