Has anyone else experienced a link between cluster headaches and epilepsy? I have suffered from C/H for about 6 years. Last year I was diagnosed with atonal seizure disorder, probably caused by the bacterial meningitis I had when I was 10 years old. The medication I am on for the epilepsy (Neurontin) has decreased the frequency, duration and severity of the headaches by about 50%. Now I am wondering if I was mis-diagnosed with C/H in the past, or if there is some common cause for the seizures and the headaches.
