Yes, it is more uncommon for women to get clusters
than men, but, of course, women still do get them.
I think the statistics are 6 to 1. But, given
that clusters are often misdiagnosed as migraines
in women, I question these statistics.
And even though Imitrex is used for migraine,
thank god it also works for cluster. We cluster
sufferers have been able to "piggyback" on research
done for migraine sufferers.
