I went to my doc today. He incressed my verapamil 240mg`s a day and my Amitpitptyline 50 mg`s one at night. He put me on 2 different medicene`s one Maxalt 10mg`s to be taken under the tounge. I can take up to 2 of these if needed. He also gave me Esgicplus Butalbital 50mg`s which I can take one tablet every 4 hour`s up to 6 a day. I looked this last medicine up the [Esgicplus] and could`nt fingd anything on it. The doctor said it was new. I still would like more information on this before I take it.
If anyone has heard of this PLEASE let me know.
OK Here`s the real clincher this Dr. looked me right in the eye and said it is very uncommon for woman to get Cluster Headache`s. Wwwwoooo Yes I was fumming. I asked about oxgen and Imitrex. Which he said Imitrex is a drug used for migraine`s. Then again guess what when I looked up Maxalt it said it was only for migraine`s. I have been doing alot of research on CH with tention headache`s and i can tell you one thing I know more than they doctor know`s when it come`s to this. I am suppose to go back with in a month. I will try his med`s and do what he say`s. But in the mean time I will be looking for a good Nero.
