OK friends, let me say a "bad" thing:
In the last posts I have read many and many times phrases starting with: Try this...., I recommend this...., this is the unique thing that work for me.... and so on.
The oldest boarder can share these thoughts (but i think we have to pay more attention too) but with newbies DO NOT recommend medicines!
We could say to use O2, Water, at least Ibuprofen or alka seltzer but (me for the first!) ....in the worst case, he/she vomit or take an O2 trip....:-)
but AVOID any recommendation about drug! Exchanging info, sure!, but not prescriptions. At least let's add at the end ...IF YOUR DOCTOR AGREE!
For ex. if I recommend Verapamil to a person that have had a MI, I'm near to kill him, if he found Verapamil out of the "doctors" channel, and start the 960 mg dose in a while! Also for Imitrex in High BP cases, we can cause a hearth stroke! and so on.
Please, do not upset with me for this, I have to share, but I meant only to pray you to avoid those recommendations with newbies, they may be so in affliction and tired that they can do anything we tell them!
Ciao and kisses from Riccardo aka Serial Kisser
