Writing "in cycle" for me is a bitch! I just did a 20 minute comedy "roast" routine this weekend that took at least 24 hours of actual keyboard time. I remember looking up, realizing I had just spent 1 hour on one silly sentence. I'd starve if I was writing fortune cookies.
Fortunately this cycle has not had as many attacks as usual...so far...but my brain still stays kinda fuzzy...I find myself obsessing over the tiniest of things...kinda tunnel vision minded.
