Hi, Ueli,
Good post! After 11 years of chronic clusters, I have trained myself to wake up at the first sign of a cluster attack, most of the time. I am good enough at it that I never wake up with a 7 or higher any more (analogous to wetting the bed) but still sometimes miss catching it in time for oxygen to work.

Following up on Sailpappy's post below, I, too, find that I very frequently am struck by an urgent need to piss 2 minutes after starting on oxygen, just when the damn CH is trying to go higher and I know I can't quit the oxygen or the demon will win. I have an "H" cylinder in my "cluster closet"; it weighs about 200 lbs. I have solved this by keeping a second "E" cylinder in the closet that I can switch to for the trip to the bathroom. I keep the "E" cylinders on hand anyway to carry in the car.
LYG
John
