You were right! It is now 5 days since I stopped the Prednisone and my hip is *slowly* recovering. Thanks again for your mail as it made me feel better.
For those who do take this stuff....beware. I had taken it many times in the past to abort a cycle. This time it did a number on my body. I really thought I was developing Avascular Necrosis in my left hip.
I will never take it again. As my Neuro. points out, there are a whole range of other less potentially harmful meds.
