I do understand what you are saying about that drug - that it would be AWESOME if we could find something that could knock you guys out during an attack. But I think what folks are saying here is that is does have the potential to seriously harm you and nothing is worth that risk.
It is interesting though, that some people have commented that after having had surgery and therefore a general anaesthetic, that their attacks have disappeared for awhile. Look at Elaine - hers went away for a month! Why is that? And why have they come back now? Is there something in that drug that scares the Beast? Can we explore that somehow?
As far as the birthday wishes go, I don't see anything wrong with that either. You have been here a long time too, Lee, and you know that lots of people have developed friendships as a result of this board. Yes, sometimes getting off topic gets monotonous but sometimes a distraction helps too.
