Thank you, Nin (or whoever)
It took courage to post that apology, and rest assured it will be taken at face value.
Yes, the 'Net was originally the pervue of the academes, but this hasn't been true for many years now. Today, the 'Net is open to all of us, as ch.com clearly illustrates.
What is ch.com? As DJ has said it is "entirely and exclusively for clusterheads". He didn't say it's restricted in any other way. Those who choose to post jokes, 'touchy-feely' support or whatever are entitled to do so. As a group, we do try to re-direct those who obviously don't suffer CH to other sites that may provide them better info about their specific disorder, but there's nothing 'elitist' about that...just common sense.
There are many people here who, like you, prefer to deal strictly with the 'scientific' aspects of CH, and a calm, rational post about those issues will generally result in feedback.
I will offer two suggestions. If you choose to post under a psuedonym, that is your right. If you constantly change that psuedonym, however, you make it difficult for others to retain the thread. Likewise, failure to post your email address leads some to conclude that you have something to hide, and therefore may not be serious. Again, we must each make our own decisions on these issues. I make no judgement, merely offer my opinions.
