I saw my regular dr. yesterday about getting a referal to pain clinic and he is giving me one to pain clinic and headache clinic and is also talking with my neuro to get him to write up letter as well so they unite against my hmo to get them to let me go to these clinics that are outside my hmo and get them to pay for it. My dr. is also writting a letter to my employer putting me on 3 months short term disability. He thinks either stress from my job or my computer is triggering my headaches and making them worse. He doesn't want me to even use my computer at home. No email, no internet, no ch.com. For 3 solid months. Life will be interesting to say the least. So I will be taking at least a 3 month vacation away from home (ch.com) to find out if I may be going on long term perminent disabilty until I am retrained in something that doesn't involve stress or computers. LOL. See I am a computer programmer systems analyst and spend easily 10-15 hours a day on a computer. So we shall see. I will be having my husband check my emails for me and replying as needed and reading some stuff off the board for me but he isn't much for typing so. I just didn't want anyone thinking I had killed myself due to extreame turn my headaches have taken lately. I will be thinking of all of you and keeping you all in my prayers.
