I wish you all the best, Karla. I work like you do. I love working on computers and find that I enjoy it so much, I feel guilty for getting paid doing it. I'm a CH sufferer, too. I also work on computers and am pursuing education to become a computer programmer and systems analyst.
I don't know why I have these things, but I did find something that worked for me. It's a combination of things and none of them works without the other. But the all work really well together, for me at least. They are 1 percocet, 1 pseudofed, 3 benadryl, 4 200mg advil. I use the lidocaine nasal spray until they kick in and I find I'm functioning again!! At least I can manage the pain on my terms. I've cut my ER trips from 4 or 5 a week to 1 or two a year. The only other preventive measure the neuro can come up with is lithium. He says it will zone me out for the 3 to 6 months I'm on it and I can't afford anything like that with my job and lifestyle. I'll keep you in my prayers, Karla. I hope that everything works out for you.
