My doctor first put me on Midrin, but i had had a really bad allergic reaction to it. He then put me on Imitrex, the pill version. I had to take it on a bus when we were traveling to a track meet. I threw up and the headache seemed to stop for a while. The medication didn't kick in for about 1/2 an hour, then i puked it up. Is this normal, or did i have a reaction to it? i wasn unable to compete at the meet and can't afford to have the same thing happen again. Is there a quicker form of this medication, or should i stop taking it, it did make me really dizzy. Is there anything else that works really really quick?
