After the discussions today about doctors I thought I'd share my thoughts which are worth exactly a half a penny.
There are good doctors and bad doctors. I have found many good doctors, and some bad doctors. Doctors are human. They make mistakes. Being educated about your own condition helps assure you that a doctor does not make a mistake.

One good doctor that I remember was a few years back. I remember him because he took the time to help this little boy who was playing in the waiting room. This little boy was trying to push and hammer a square block into a round hole. The doctor seeing this knelt down and told him"only round blocks go into round holes, and square blocks go into square holes." That is like a good diagnosis.

Being educated and aware of our own symptoms we can go into the doctor and say this is exactly what I am experiencing. If the doctor is good he will be able to figure out if you are round or square. (this is an analogy by the way) It seems that we should know if we don't have the symptoms of being round then we should stop trying to hammer and push ourselves into that little square hole.

If the doctor is not a good doctor, then we can fire them. Freeing ourselves to find a doctor who knows their shapes.
