First my diclaimer: I am not an expert on CPH nor indocin. All I know is what I've read in a few atricles about it. The link on the left (headache links) has a case history where the doctor says "headaches stopped promptly. During the first two weeks of treatment, no headache occured."
The info on indocin says that it is 90% absorbed with a half life of 1 hour. To me that says that it works almost immediately. It is totally out of your system in 2 days which means to me that after two days of taking it, it's disappearing as fast as your putting it in so you are at the maximun level that your body will maintain.
Dosage 50mg, 3 x daily. Is he taking 50mg. Is he taking capsules (the info says the supositories go to work faster but less of the med is absorbed 60% vs. 90% with capsules)? My doc started me on 25mg 3xdaily for a few days to make sure I would handle it ok and then upped me to 50 mg/3x. After a week of no help, I gave the stuff up.
Wish I could give you more on the treatment but that's all I know about it.
I was really hoping to hear some good news.
