has anyone tried verapamil combined with ergotamine?
i have had CH for 40 years. my cycles have been about every 3 yrs, occuring 2 or 3 times a nite, for about 3 months. i've tried pretty much everything available over the years without much success. 5 yrs ago i was put on cafergot for 7 days along with verapamil (120 mg)and continued with verapomil for a few more weeks. this stopped them cold -- until now.
this time, with the same medication, it was effective until i came off the 7 days of ergotamine. now they are back as bad as ever.
