Unfortunately, oxygen can be very temporary. Personally, it takes the headache away quickly, but about 10 minutes after coming off...it comes right back. But if I stay on it long enough, the headache passes.
If you are good for an hour, great...then just hop back on as it is coming back.
There is not a true "rebound" headache phenomena with oxygen as there is with other medications...and you will not become dependent on the O2 for your headaches. It just doesn't always completely get rid of the headache...you just have to wait it out on the tank.
