Hi, I also use oxygen to try to abort my attacks, but suffer the same
problem as DocGreg. Most of the time the headache is aborted only
during the time i'm on the oxygen and then 10 min later comes back with
vengeance. I did notice that if I reduced the level of oxygen intake
slowly over the time of the attack I could wait it out on gas. I would
start at 9 and work down to 2 slowly over a 15-20 min period. (It is
however quite dangerous to be on Oxygen for that length of time. ) The
normal maximum time according to my doctor is 10 mins, but this is at
level 9. I'm not sure if you can get away with taking it for longer on a
lower setting, it's what I've been doing, but I can't say it's a good idea
as I'm not a doctor. (DocGreg, do you use it for longer than 10 mins?)

Wishing you a pain free holiday season.
and Happy new year. :o)
