Greetings to all my fellow sufferers.
At forty, I'm a nine year sufferer of CH, a short time compared to some of you (hats off).
I've read most but not all of the post at this site and have seen the various attempts at treatment and attempts to find the cause(s) of the pain.
Do you think that we might all get together and come up with some type of indepth survey/questionaire that we could all fill out and then compare results and see if there might be ANY type of connection that we all may share.
I find it hard to believe that lifestyle is a factor. Men and women share similar lifestyles yet men are afflicted at a rate of 6:1 to women.
How many of us have suffered some form of head injury? I had my jaw broken in three places in an auto accident, with two of the three being of the left side which is my CH side.
How many of us spend more than 3-4 hours per day staring at a computer monitor?
How many of us sleep on waterbeds or sleep with more than two pillows under our head?
How's your posture?
I'm looking at questions that go beyond what do you eat, do you smoke or drink.
Like the rest of you, I'm tired of the pain and the thought that I may have these the rest of my life. Maybe I'm just rambling but treatment seems to be guess work at best and a cure just a dream.
As bad as the pain can be, I would be willing to be the ONLY one who suffers if it meant none of you would ever have to suffer another episode again.
Let's get together on our data and personal research and even the "far-fetched" ideas and theories.
The best to each and everyone of you.
Dale
