I don't know exactly what they'll do, but if it's
anything like when I was at QS they'll try you on
drugs that need monitoring, do full blood tests,
and brain scan.

wrt the last, it depends on whether they're using
you as part of their research or not, I suspect.
They moved away from MRI towards PET scanning,
as the PET scans were able to show up blood flow
better, and were therefore better at showing what
was happening, rather than simply what was there.

The most important things, though, are the fact that
you'll feel (possibly for the first time) that someone
takes you and your condition seriously, and that you'll
get a good rest without having to worry about CH/CPH
on top of everything else!

I'm sorry to hear that your GP was still being obstructive,
but at least you now know it's him, and not the whole
medical profession. Added to which, if you end up
having to changes docs, you know it can't possibly
be any worse!
