The strangest thing happened. I have been enduring my most recent cycle of cluster headaches. I have been having cluster headaches for about 8 years. My longest cycle was 3 months of 3-5 headaches a day. This most recent cycle seems to be the worst. But I always think that.
Anyways, for eight weeks I have been having headaches non-stop. EVERYDAY!!!!! I don't take any preventative medications, I have in the past but don't know their effectiveness. I have been taking between 2-4 vicodin a day at the onset of a headache. I wake up with a full blown headache almost daily.
Anyways, last night I had a party. I got very drunk. I usually don't drink because alcohol always seemed to bring on a headache. It's the next day, I have a hangover from hell but NO HEADACHE. Is this coincidence? Probably, I pray I'm through with this episode, so that I can get on with my life.
This last episode left me depressed and as close to suicidal as I have ever felt. The pain was so intense I couldn't handle it. Pray for me and get drunk tonight.
