Sphenopalatine Ganglium (one of the most important ganglia of the trigeminal nerve)
2 action on this: the mild is to instillate xilocaine (novocaine clorhidrate, an analgesic) in it with a catheter. This have a success in CH of about 20% for 1 week, then you have to redo it.
BTW is not a painful operation.
The strongest is the Gamma knife surgery, irreversible operation that cut your trigeminal nerve. If the 1st have had no success, is better to avoid the 2nd.
And for the 1st time in my life let me correct your english...:-) pheno palpatine means approx in italian "touch your intimate body parts with hot intentions"....:-)
Ciao and PFNAD
