I am a 39 year old Male who has dealt with with CH's for fifteen years. My CH's have a pattern based on time of year, I believe that allegories start them. The period runs from May to December each year, each night, sometimes twice at night. I have been taking a nose spray and Claritin-D. Although, when I have a CH attack the only thing that works is a Imitrex 6mg self shot. (They do have pill form, but, it takes up to forty minutes to kick in) The intense pain behind my right eye is gone in minutes.
