Tracy, Your mum and my mum need to get together. My mom gets pissed at the mere mention of headaches. When I was a kid and I said my head hurts she thought I was bored and found chores for me to do. She hid the aspirin so I couldn't find it. I clearly remember many times her yelling at the worst peak of pain.
Why do they do this? I have no idea. I think they feel responsible or something. Who knows.
Vent away, it can be infuriating.
