Prednisone and Stadol combo did that to me real bad. Metamucil several times a day finally got things going again. Very unpleasant, not to mention the repetative cluster attacks. When in a cycle, I think back with fondness on the days when I had only 1 attack each day. Same time each day, and exact same lenghts each time (a meer 45 minutes back then). Thank the Lord my 6 year chronic cycle was broken. Now I am blessed with 2 or 3 year intermission. Yet when they return, they're worse than ever. Multiple times dailly, sometimes for hours. Living on ergotamine, Verapamil, and sometime Prednisone when they come. Also some Stadol at night, though that tends to leave me with more repetative attacks, hangover, and sometimes 24 hour cluster attack. Prayer is the only thing that gets me through without comitting the permanent solution that is often times oh so tempting. I hope your pain receeds and you have some peace. God bless you. Rich
