My heart goes out to you. I had an attack like that about 3 weeks ago and thought it totally impossible for a human being to endure that much pain.
But we do. It's amazing what our bodies put us through. If it's any consolation I haven't had another one like it since. I hope you will be able to say the same.
And as far as not feeling yourself today, it took me 2 days to feel human after that attack.
I spent the entire next day in tears,
my body aching from the pain I had endured,
my soul aching from the thought of what I had put my boyfriend through,
my mind aching at the thought of what this was doing to my life,
my head aching with the terrible shadows that almost always cloud my brain.
