Dear Elaine, yes, I understand the need to let nobody notice, to keep it under wraps. But have you ever thought that this consideration for others makes it so much more difficult for those self same others to understand what we're going through?

When I started getting CH, I just went along to comittee meetings as usual. I told them I might have an attack and then when they saw me turn white as a sheet and being unable to respond, they knew something was very wrong. This way I made them respect my pain.

Not wanting to bother other people can go too far.
